First time chef's first time post!

Well I have wanted to start a blog for a while now but I was not quite sure what I wanted to blog about. Last night while my Grandpa was teaching me how to cook I was inspired! Cooking of course why had I not thought of that before!!! Oh right I don't know how to cook... Well why not a blog about my marvelous, or not so marvelous, misadventures about learning how to cook and bake different things. I could even add in a little about myself each week like what it is like being home schooled and how I love to read and write and such. At firsτ though let's just focus on the cooking.

So through this blog I will write down what it is like for me to learn how to cook from my Grandfather, Father, Mother, and of course my amazing cousin Rebecca Hatcher, whose blog can be seen here http://delicioushouse.blogspot.com/ I do hope that this blog can also help some other people who don't really know how to cook that are a bit older and want to know that they are not alone in their knowledge of the cooking and baking world. So my next blog will be about that meal the first meal I really made last night with my Grandfather; because pasta, soup, and frozen pizza do not count as cooking. I will tell you all about how I made a delicious meal of pork chops, sauteed vegetables, rice, and salad, all served with a nice wine, for my Grandpa of course not me.
